The team at Moneyboat has a busy couple of months ahead of us, drumming up votes from the thousands of happy customers we’ve funded over the years. Our efforts are all in aid of the Consumer Credit Awards, for which we are nominated for the first time, this year!
Moneyboat is lucky enough to have been shortlisted for a number of awards in recent years, winning several. But none has been quite like the Consumer Credit Awards, which is voted for by consumers themselves.
We’re super proud of the awards we’ve won in the past and those we’re shortlisted for this year, but winning a consumer-voted award would be the icing on the cake. We’re up for the Best Loan Provider (lending < £2.5k) award.
What are the Consumer Credit Awards?
Now in their 7th year, the Consumer Credit Awards, run by Smart Money People, aim to find the best products, hottest innovation, and the most trusted credit brands and their partners. The awards help consumers to learn who they can trust when seeking out a loan, which is particularly important right now, as Jacqueline Dewey, CEO of Smart Money People explains:
“With rising costs of living, ensuring consumers have credit providers and support they can trust to give them a good outcome with their credit needs has never been more important. The Consumer Credit Awards helps us to find and celebrate the firms and suppliers that are working hard to deliver great products and services to their customers.”
Smart Money People run a consumer review site, with an emphasis on financial services. The site is intended to help borrowers make more informed decisions. Moneyboat is a proud supporter of consumer reviews as a way to help inform borrowers before taking out a loan. We’re delighted with our 4.8 score on Trustpilot, from over 5,000 reviews - a milestone we celebrated earlier in 2022.
How to vote for us
Voting for the Consumer Credit Awards opened on Monday 16 May and you can vote at any time right up until the 24th July, after which the finalists will be revealed. The winners in each category will then be named at a gala ceremony on 8th September.
If you’d like to vote, it only takes two minutes and you are automatically entered into a prize draw to win £1,000, offered as a prize by Smart Money People. An impressive 31,000 consumers made their voices heard last year by voting in these prestigious awards, so why not join them and have your say?
